Selecting multiple controls
There are two ways to select multiple controls:
1. Selecting controls one by one using the mouse while holding down the CTRL key
Note: If you stack two or more controls on top of the other, you will be able to select only the partially visible controls and the top most control.
2. Selecting controls by drawing a selection box around the controls using the mouse. All controls inside the rectangle will be selected.
- Click on the design window and drag the pointer to draw a selection box around the controls you want to select.
- When you release the mouse button, all controls inside selection box will be selected.
Control group operations
Moving controls to a new location in the design area
To move the selected group, hover the mouse over the border of any control in the selected group; the mouse icon will change from a ‘normal select’ icon to a ‘move’ icon. When this happens, you will be able to pick up and move the controls by holding down the left mouse button. The control will be "dropped" when the mouse button is released.
Cutting, copying and pasting controls
You can copy or cut multiple controls and paste them as a single group to a new location on the design area using the right click context menu.
