Bitmap properties form

The form contains the following;

  • Input – This is the the index/number that corresponds to the input variable (read only). This property can be changed by dragging and dropping the appropriate variable from the variables pane and into the body of the control in the design area. The default value for this is ‘0’, indicating that no input variable has been set.
  • Default value (textbox) – This is the default value assigned to the input variable
  • Lower limit (textbox) – This is the lower limit of the input variable
  • Upper limit (textbox) – This is the upper limit of the input variable. It should be noted that, if a bit map is assigned an input variable, the bit map will only be shown in the video during time periods where the current value of the input variable is between the upper and lower limits.
  • Image File – This displays an image file to be loaded into the bitmap control. Special images files that are provided with the application should be used for this purpose. Supported file types include JPEG (.jpg) and Windows bitmap (.bmp).
  • Alpha Image – A special image that has been provided with the ‘Image File’ should be used for this purpose. The alpha image is required in order to overlay the image over the video.
  • Width (textbox) – This is the width of control video
  • Height (textbox) – This is the height of control video
  • Top coordinates (textbox) – These are the coordinates of the top border of the control
  • Left coordinates (textbox) – These are the coordinates of the left border of the control
  • Alfa factor (textbox) – This specifies the transparency of the image in the final video. Values may range form 255 (opaque) to 0 (invisible)
  • Z-order (combo box) – This is the z order of the control. Values are:
