OverlayManager / ControlPane

Control Pane

The application supports the following control types:

• Video Source – This is used to display a second video source (other than the main video source, which occupies the full screen) in a PIP (picture in picture) form.
• Bitmap – This is used to display a static image to the user
• Simple Text – This is used to display a static text to the user
• Digital Display – This is used to display variable information in the form of a digital number
• Bar Graph – This is used to display variable information in the form of a bar graph
• Analogue Dial – This is used to display variable information in the form of an analogue dial

A tree containing the different control types is located on the left side of the control pane. You can expand the tree to view all of the controls that belong to a particular control type. When a particular control type is selected, all of the controls that belong to it are displayed graphically on the right hand side of the pane.

Each control type has a default that cannot be edited or removed. You may add and remove your own custom controls to these default settings if you wish.
