Simple text properties form
The form contains the following:
- Input – This is the index/number that corresponds to the input variable (read only). This property can be changed by dragging and dropping the appropriate variable from the variables pane into the body of the control in the design area. The default value for this is ‘0’ indicating that no input variable has been set.
- Default value (textbox) – This is a default value assigned to the input variable
- Lower limit (textbox) – this is the lower limit of the input variable
- Upper limit (textbox) – This is the upper limit of the input variable. It should be noted that, if a simple text object is assigned an input variable, the text will only shown in the video during time periods where the current value of the input variable is between the upper and lower limits.
- CentreX (textbox) – This centres the X coordinates
- CentreY (textbox) – This centres the Y coordinates
- Alfa factor (textbox) – This specifies the transparency of the text in the final video. Values may range form 255 (opaque) to 0 (invisible)
- Text (text area) – This is the text that is to be displayed
- Font (command button) – This allows you to select the font
- Fort Colour - This allows you to select the font colour
- Alignment (combo box) – This allows you to align the text as follows:
Left – The text is aligned to the left
Right – The text is aligned to the right
