OverlayManager / ToolBars

Tool bars

The toolbar contains the following toolbar buttons;

• New – clear design pane of all controls to start a new design
• Load – load a DSH file. This will controls on to the design pane as specified in the said file
• Save – Save the design to a DSH file
• Play – The application will go into ‘play mode’. In this mode, the design area will display a mock-up screen shot of the video generated by hardware system. All controls and panes except for the Edit toolbar button will be locked. Users cannot add or edit the design.
• Edit – This button will only be enabled in the ‘play mode’. Users can return to the ‘edit mode’ by pressing this button. Once in the ‘edit mode’, all panes and controls (except for the Edit toolbar button) will be enabled. Once in ‘edit mode’ users can add or edit controls.
• Design – if design pane is closed this will reopen the design pane
• Variables – if variable pane is closed this will reopen the variable pane
• Controls – if control pane is closed this will reopen the control pane
