Monitor Quick Start

The Race Technology monitor program is exceptionally powerful and fully configurable, however to use the monitor for the first time is very simple as it comes pre-configured.

• Simply start the monitor program and message box will be displayed prompting you to load the default configuration file. Press ‘Yes’ to load the default configuration.
• Connect the data logging device (DL1/DL2/AX22) to the PC using the serial cable provided.
• Turn the data logging device ON so it starts streaming data out.
• Within the monitor program, go to the "File" menu and select "Set data source" .
• Set the data source as the correct serial port on the PC, once this is done click "Ok" to shut this window.
• Again, select the "File" menu, and then select "Play" mode.
• If everything is connected correctly, the live data will now be displayed in real time. To configure the monitor to your own requirements, refer to the main help section.
