Creating a new configuration
1. Click on the File -> New Configuration menu item.
2. Select a screen using the "Screen" menu.
3. Select a layout for the selected screen using the "Select Layout" drop down in the bottom panel and optionally give a name to the screen.
4. Setup screen object properties in the design area. Screen objects are grouped. Properties applicable to each group can be edited by selecting the group and changing group properties.
5. Repeat the step 2 for all other screens
6. Set any smoothing, filtering or units for variables in the variable tree.
7. Configure the following through the Configuration menu if required:
- Analog inputs
- ECU Interface
- Wheel speed and RPM
- Unit control inputs
- Shift lights
- Gear calculations
- Logging control
- Alarms
- Output drivers
- Car computer
- CAN output commands
- Reference sector times
- Brightness control
- System messages
- Lap timing
8. Save the Configuration to a cmg file using the File -> Save configuration
9. Send the configuration to the DASH5PRO using the File -> Send Configuration menu item.
