Introduction - Monitoring Software

The Monitor software is a user friendly, real-time monitoring system that allows you to process the data from all of our current data logging products. The software tools - which include meters, LED displays, indicators and graphs - can then be customized to allow you to view the data in whatever way is most appropriate to your application.

Once you have customized the tools, you can save the configurations in the control library for future use.

The Monitors' user interface is very similar to that of the analysis software. For example, when using the the Variable Manager function, you will be able to use the same variable definition files in both programs. This means that once you have all of your sensor definitions set up in the analysis program, you can simply export them to the monitor software.

Once you are happy with your customizations, the interface and associated variable definitions may be saved to a Monitor profile ( .mon ) file.

The software has two modes of operation - Edit and Play. The Edit mode allows you to customize the interface and allocate variables; whilst the Play mode will allow you to visualize the real-time data.

For a brief introduction to getting started on the Monitor Software, take a few moments to read over the Monitor Quick Start Guide.
